Q. How do I clear formatting in Word 2007/2003?

A. Here are the steps:

1. Select the text that you want to clear the formatting from.
2. On the Home tab, in the Font group, do one of the following click Clear Formatting icon:

In Word 2003

1. Select the text whose formatting you want to remove.
2. If the Styles and Formatting task pane is not open, click Styles and Formatting Button () on the Formatting toolbar.

3. Click Clear Formatting.

Microsoft Word restores the formatting to the normal style for your document.
