Joining Google group with Google Apps

Q. How do I join a google group with a Google apps account? The login page does not let me in.

A. This is a problem on Google's side, so hopefully they will fix it. For ow, here's how to access it:

Use this url and replace "groupname" and "myid" with your email address:

https://groups.google.com/group/groupname/boxsubscribe?email=myid

For example, there's a group called "SurroundSound" and its URL is:
https://groups.google.ca/group/surroundsound. You would use
"surroundsound" to replace "GroupName" in the url above. So it would become:

https://groups.google.com/group/surroundsound/boxsubscribe?email=myemail@googleappsdomain.com

Another example, group name "GG's Tags and Music Previews" and URL:
https://groups.google.ca/group/ggs-tags
You would then use "ggs-tags" and have this URL for subscription:

https://groups.google.com/group/ggs-tags/boxsubscribe?email=myemail@googleappsdomain.com

and so on.
