To disable hibernate (and delete hyberfil.sys file), do the following: Method 1:1. Open a Elevated Command Prompt. 2. Type powercfg -h off
Method 2:1. Open the Control Panel → Power Options → Change plan settings → Change advanced power settings 2. Expand Sleep → Hibernate after. 3. Under Hibernate after, set the Setting (Minutes) to Never. 4. Under Allow hybrid sleep, set Setting to Off. 5. Click Ok to close |
