Display "From" field in Outlook

outlook_2003_logoQ. How can add a From button to Outlook 2007?

A. First, open Outlook.

2. Click on "New Message" (or Ctrl+N as a keyboard shortcut).

3.Click on "Options" → "Show From" button

show_from

4. Select the address that you want to send from by pressing "From" button or type it in.

Keep in mind that if you are on Exchange, you need to be added to the allowed list of senders. You can't just type in a random name - it will most likely bounce back.

Nice
Works as expected, thanks. I did have to request Exchange to be configured before being able to send.

@TM: It's hard to say what the problem is, you have to look at the bounce and see what it says. Most likely you are trying to send as one user, but authenticated as another. Your best bet is to actually add another account that you want to send from, rather than typing it in.

When I type in the email address, it bounces back. I don't have exchange and I'm allowed to send as that user.
Any ideas?

Amazing how quicker it is to find something in Google rather than fiddle with the software :-)
